The Tennis Federation of Kazakhstan announces the completion of the selection process for the national tennis team set to participate in the upcoming Paris Olympic Games 2024, QazMonitor reports with reference to the press service of the federation.
The following players will represent Kazakhstan at the Olympic Tennis Games in singles:
Elena Rybakina (No. 4)
Yulia Putintseva (No. 34)
Alexander Bublik (No. 23)
Alexander Shevchenko (No. 58)
with the pair Alexander Bublik and Alexander Nedovyesov competing in the doubles.
Notably, No. 58 Alexander Shevchenko will play for the Kazakhstan tennis team for the first time.
The selection process was conducted in accordance with the Olympic regulations, according to which the primary qualifying criterion for participation in the Games is the individual rankings of players in the ATP and WTA world rankings.
