Skytrax, a UK-based consultancy and airline review website, held its annual World Airline Awards 2024 ceremony. Two carriers from Kazakhstan made it into the top 100 airlines, QazMonitor reports citing Skytrax.
AirAstana ranked 38th and FlyArystan secured the 100th spot globally. Additionally, Air Astana was named Best Airline in Central Asia and the CIS for the 12th time, also receiving the Best Airline Staff Service award in the region for the eighth consecutive year. FlyArystan received recognition as the Best Budget Airline in the region for the second time.
Kazakhstan’s carriers were ranked in the Central Asian & CIS region as follows:
Air Astana — 1st place
FlyArystan — 3rd place
QazaqAir — 5th place
Scat — 6th place
Globally, the top three spots were dominated by:
Qatar Airways
Singapore Airlines
Emirates
The World Airline Awards is a renowned study of passenger satisfaction, often compared to the Oscars of the Aviation Industry. The 2023-2024 survey, conducted online from September 2023 to May 2024 in six languages, gathered feedback from respondents worldwide, representing more than 100 nationalities and reviewing over 350 airlines.
